Paddled up to McBride's Point to see three folks on the bulkhead hook up to this snook and have it run into the pier next to them. They handed me the rod and I followed it through the pilings out to the other side and landed this monster snook.

The most treacherous inlet in the east coast. I've crossed it twice, '03 and '05, both on an outgoing tide. The yellow arrows are the current. The red line is the first time, I didn't read the tide correctly and got pulled out into the ocean and the shoals. The second time(blue line) I wisely crossed on the inside.
